The CD to buy for your next party.

"Halfway Between the Gutter and The Stars"

by Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim, the first-famous, ever-famous DJ.

Fatboy Slim
Norman Cook won 6 awards at the 2001 MTV awards ceremony - all of them for his work on "Weapon of Choice", the Spike Jonze directed promo.   Norman also wrote a track for Moulin Rouge, the movie that swept all those awards at the Oscars. It was the techno track the actors danced the CanCan to.  Remember it?

Oh and by the way, even "Norman" is a pseud. Fatboy's real name is Quentin. And there is no space between "fat" and "boy". He insists. Norman's website is rich with info, tour dates, album releases, and even the video for "Demons", the second single on Halfway Between the Gutter and the Stars, with Macy Gray. And don't overlook Fatboy Slim's "Live on Brighton Beach" album, which we are listening to as we write this. Norman lives in the U.K. with his radio DJ wife, Zoe Ball and son Woody. Salute to the DJ who is so much more than a DJ.  And just try not dancing!
