Amy Miles

Review by Audrey Regan & Sean Marr

Amy Miles jagged messages are delivered in voices that are raw, refined, taut and flowing and sometimes edged in brittle, but they are all, without exception, pure silk.

She sings about "Steven" (track 10 of her new CD).

"Am I just screwing myself, the way that you did
You had me going good. What was I thinking
Was I just dreaming
You had me deep in…..Steven"

Her words reveal enough to make us wonder - she's not telling everything. We get it though - it's the leftover feeling that inspires the need to immortalize a life-changing event, not simply to share but to move on from there, with all unanswered questions in tow.

One would pay attention, even without the delivery mechanism of her consistently gorgeous voice.
